CVS is an innovative, rapidly expanding organisation providing specialized non-invasive diagnostic cardiology services based at Hollywood Private Hospital, St John of God Health Campus Murdoch, Bethesda Hospital and Peel Health Campus. CVS is a fully digital echo laboratory and performs over 10,000 echo studies per year including transthoracic, stress echo (treadmill and dobutamine), transoesophageal and intra-operative echo. CVS is also involved in a number of cardiology research projects.
CVS is seeking applications for an Echocardiography Fellowship (equivalent of a 4th Year of a cardiology fellowship) from individuals who have completed their FRACP trained in cardiology. This is an exceptional opportunity to work with a dedicated team who are focused on non-invasive diagnostic services who are passionate about becoming a highly skilled echocardiographer performing complete high quality studies using high-end state-of-the-art technology.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to be exposed to a broad range of pathology, gain extensive hands-on imaging experience in transthoracic echo, stress and transoesophageal echo, be involved in echocardiography research and have the benefit of working within an organisation with a strong emphasis on teaching.
There will also be some exposure to invasive cardiology through associated Cardiologists at both Hollywood Private Hospital and St John of God Health Campus Murdoch.
