Dr David Adam, MBBS (Hons), PhD, FRACP - Cardiologist (Electrophysiologist – Pacing & EP)
David is a consultant cardiologist with particular expertise in Electrophysiology, Pacing and EP studies. Dr Adam trained at Monash University in Melbourne and completed his residency and general cardiology training at Monash Medical Centre in Victoria. He then spent two years completing a fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at the Royal Jubilee Hospital, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, before returning to Melbourne to commence specialist practice. He has a public hospital appointment as an electrophysiologist at Monash Medical Centre. His interests include implantable devices including biventricular pacemakers and defibrillators, as well as catheter ablation of cardiac arrhythmias including atrial fibrillation.
He consults for CVS as well as performs procedures at The Avenue and is happy to be contacted directly by general practitioners and physicians to discuss test results and patient management.
