Rukshen graduated from the University of Western Australia in 1994 and completed general cardiology training at Royal Perth Hospital in 2001 before completing 2 years training overseas at the world’s leading centre for AF ablation – the Hospital Cardiologique du Haut Leveque in Bordeaux. AF ablation was pioneered and subsequently developed for mainstream application by the cardiac electrophysiologists in Bordeaux.
Rukshen specialises in the management of heart rhythm disturbances and has a private practice with rooms in Nedlands, Mandurah and Joondalup. Rukshen works with a dedicated team at the AF ablation clinic and is also a longstanding member of the CVS team. Rukshen is supported by Mr Simon Gillett (Clinical Nurse Practitioner) and a dedicated team of cardiac technicians, anesthetists and reception staff.
